Ryan Gosling Hosts ‘Saturday Night Live’ This March

Ryan Gosling is set to host “Saturday Night Live” on March 7. This marks his fourth appearance in the iconic role on the show. The Oscar-nominated actor will promote his forthcoming film, “Project Hail Mary,” which is scheduled to premiere in theaters on March 20.

Musical Guest and Upcoming Episodes

Joining Gosling on stage is the virtual band Gorillaz. This occasion will mark their debut performance on “SNL.” The band, fronted by Damon Albarn, will showcase tracks from their latest album, “The Mountain,” scheduled for release on February 27.

Season Overview

The current season of “Saturday Night Live” began in October 2025. It kicked off with Bad Bunny as the premiere host. This season has seen significant cast changes. Several long-time members, including Ego Nwodim and Heidi Gardner, have left the show along with newcomers Devon Walker, Emil Wakim, and Michael Longfellow.

John Higgins also exited, while Ben Marshall was elevated to the main cast from the Please Don’t Destroy team, and Martin Herlihy transitioned to a writing position. Newcomers Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Kam Patterson, and Veronika Slowikowska joined the lineup. Additionally, Bowen Yang concluded his eight-year tenure midway through the season, following an episode hosted by his “Wicked” co-star Ariana Grande.
