In her announcement, Healy mentioned, “It’s with mixed emotions that the upcoming India series will be my last for Australia. I still love playing for my country, but I feel the competitive edge that’s driven me for so long isn’t quite the same anymore. The timing feels right.”
Healy also confirmed that she would not participate in the upcoming T20 World Cup due to the limited preparation time for her team. However, she looks forward to concluding her career by leading the ODI and Test sides in a significant series at home.

Although Litchfield had a brief stint, Healy shone brightly, scoring an impressive 158 runs off 98 balls.
