Israel Intensifies Strikes on Tehran Amid Ongoing Conflict

The Israeli military announced on Monday that it is continuing large-scale strikes in Tehran. These operations target what they describe as the “Iranian terrorist regime.”

According to the Red Crescent, the death toll from the recent hostilities has risen to 555 since the outbreak of the war on Saturday. The casualties include:

  • 35 individuals in the southern province of Fars
  • 27 in the northwest region within two days
  • At least three in Sanandaj, west of Iran

Additionally, the central province of Yazd has also been affected, according to Iranian officials. The conflict has escalated beyond Iran, with Israeli airstrikes targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon on Sunday, a group allied with Tehran.

Escalating Violence in Ukraine

In Ukraine, Russian strikes have resulted in at least five deaths across various regions. Authorities reported that multiple areas were hit overnight from Sunday to Monday.

In Kramatorsk, a city near the frontline, three fatalities were confirmed early Monday, according to Oleksandr Gontcharenko, the city’s military administration head. The Russian invasion has now entered its fifth year, despite ongoing diplomatic efforts led by Washington.
