Calgary Launches Incentive Program for Backyard Suite Construction

Effective from March 2, the program provides up to $15,000 to assist in the construction of backyard suites. Additionally, homeowners can receive up to 40 percent of the costs for underground services, with a maximum of $20,000 available. This initiative is part of Calgary’s effort to increase affordable housing options and maximize the use of existing properties.
