Natwest Adds £200 Switching Bonus to Reward Accounts

Natwest has added a £200 switching offer to its Reward and Select Accounts, with the cash paid through the Current Account Switch Service. The move gives current-account switchers a straight cash incentive, but only if they meet two conditions within 60 days.

£2 a month is the cost of the NatWest Reward Account, which can earn up to £5 in rewards per month. Caitlyn Eastell, personal finance analyst at, said: "NatWest has added a new switching offer to its Reward and Select Accounts, offering customers an attractive £200 when they switch using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS)."

£1,250 must be deposited to qualify, and customers must log in to the mobile banking app within 60 days of switching. That pairing of a deposit requirement and app use means the offer is aimed at customers prepared to move their day-to-day banking, not just open an account and leave it idle.
