Virgin Media O2 opens 3,860sqft flagship store at Westfield White City

Virgin Media O2 opened a new store at Westfield White City on 22 May 2026, putting a more than 3,860sqft flagship space on the first floor of Westfield Shopping Centre in White City. The virgin media o2 location is designed as an open-plan shop with discovery zones, product tests and in-store help for customers.

Will Houldsworth at Westfield White City

Will Houldsworth, Virgin Media O2’s Director of Retail, said: "Opening this new flagship store at Westfield White City is a hugely exciting moment for Virgin Media O2." He added: "Westfield is one of the UK’s premier shopping destinations, making it the perfect place for us to create a space where customers can discover, experience and get hands-on with the latest technology."

Houldsworth also said: "This store represents the future of retail for Virgin Media O2 – combining immersive experiences with brilliant customer service and expert support."

Discovery zones and prizes

Customers visiting at launch could join a scavenger hunt across the discovery zones, then redeem their entry at a custom-designed vending machine stocked with more than 500 prizes. The list included Chilly's bottles, Lindor chocolate bars, Virgin Experience Days vouchers, Treatwell vouchers, Tastecard memberships and Disney+ subscription vouchers.

Visitors could also take part in a quiz in the Virgin Media zone for a chance to win one of two exclusive Disney+ bundles. The store is set up so customers can test Virgin Media O2’s latest products and gaming and entertainment tech in the same space.

Support, recycling and Databank

Dedicated in-store advisors are on hand to help new and current customers with billing, account support, vulnerable customers and more complex situations. The store also accepts old mobiles, earphones, wearable tech and cables for recycling.

Virgin Media O2 said the shop joins more than 300 others as a National Databank hub, offering a free O2 SIM with 25GB of monthly data, plus texts and calls for 12 months, to people experiencing data poverty. The company said it used recycled and responsibly sourced materials in the design and construction, and prioritised energy efficiency as it built the store.
