Nvidia is expanding its partnerships with leading South Korean technology companies, including Hyundai Motor, Samsung, SK Group, and Naver. This marks CEO Jensen Huang’s first visit to South Korea in 15 years, coinciding with the APEC Summit 2025.

Dedicating over 260,000 of its latest GPUs to South Korea, Nvidia aims to enhance the country’s AI infrastructure. The South Korean government has allocated approximately 50,000 GPUs for public projects, focusing on domestic AI foundation models and establishing a national AI data center.

SK and Naver’s Contributions to AI Development

SK Group is investing in Asia’s first enterprise-led manufacturing AI cloud with Nvidia’s support. This initiative will utilize simulation and digital twin technologies, granting public and startup access to AI resources.

Meanwhile, Naver Cloud is developing a next-gen “Physical AI” platform to bridge the gap between physical and digital realms, facilitating AI advancement in industries like semiconductors and biotechnology.
