Cyber Monday generated online BNPL sales of $1.03 billion, marking a 4.2% increase compared to the previous year. This contributed to an overall online sales total of $14.25 billion for the day. Notably, BNPL transactions accounted for over 7.2% of total online sales.

As noted by Vivek Pandya, lead analyst at Adobe Digital Insights, U.S. retailers implemented significant discounts during the holiday season to stimulate online demand. He emphasized that competitive deals encouraged earlier shopping, reshaping the dynamics of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
