Amazon Issues Nationwide Recall for Potentially Toxic Products
On December 14, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a nationwide recall of several potentially hazardous products sold on Amazon. These items pose risks, particularly to children, and consumers are urged to take immediate action.
Details of the Recalled Products
The recalls involve three main products found to have serious safety concerns:
-
YCXXKJ Baby Bath Seats
Approximately 8,960 units sold by BenTalk are being recalled due to instability. These bath seats could tip over, risking drowning or injury to infants. They were available online from May 2024 through October 2025.
-
Uuoeebb Infant Walkers
About 2,650 walkers distributed by BaoD are also under recall. These walkers can easily fit through standard doorways and lack safety features to prevent them from falling down stairs. Additionally, they have large leg openings, which could pose a strangulation risk. The affected models were sold from December 2024 to September 2025.
-
SKCAIHT Children’s Little Mermaid Costumes
Around 1,300 costumes sold by SKCAIHT Direct are recalled due to the presence of a prohibited toxic phthalate. This substance can be harmful if ingested. These costumes were available on Amazon from March 2022 through July 2025.
Consumer Advisory and Refund Process
No injuries have been reported regarding these products, but safety precautions are advised. Consumers should immediately discontinue use and keep these items away from children.
To request a refund, customers must send photos of the disassembled products along with “recall” labels to the respective retailers. This process ensures a safer home environment for all.
Stay safe by remaining informed about product recalls and potential hazards that may affect your household.
