Salad Dressing Recalled in 27 States Over “Foreign Objects” Concerns
Ventura Foods has announced a recall of salad dressing products across 27 states due to concerns over foreign objects. The recall affects over 3,500 cases of various salad dressings that may contain black plastic planting material mixed in with granulated onion.
Recall Details
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported that these condiment products could pose a risk to consumers. The recall was voluntarily initiated by Ventura Foods on November 6.

Retail Distribution
The contaminated salad dressings were sold at several retailers, including Costco and Publix. The products reached customers in 42 store locations throughout the following states:

Consumer Advisory
As a safety measure, Costco issued a notification in November advising customers to discontinue use of the affected dressing products. Consumers who purchased these dressings can return them to the store for a full refund.
