On January 14, 2026, Bilt will commence pre-orders for the highly anticipated Bilt Card 2.0. This new card features enhanced rewards tailored to various lifestyles. Customers can choose from three options to improve their existing cards.

Key Dates and Benefits

The pre-order period for the Bilt Card 2.0 will run until January 30, 2026. Customers who wish to upgrade should act within this window. The benefits include:

  • Retaining the same card number
  • Auto-updates for digital wallets, including Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • No hard credit inquiry during the upgrade process
  • New cards expected to arrive by February 6, 2026

Seamless Upgrade Process

Upon selecting a new card during the pre-order, Bilt offers a convenient transition. Customers can transfer their balances from their old Bilt Wells Fargo Mastercard to the new version after February 6, 2026. Additionally, users can opt to close their existing Wells Fargo account through Bilt’s assistance.

What Happens If You Don’t Upgrade?

For those opting not to transition to the Bilt Card 2.0, the current Bilt Card remains valid until February 6, 2026. After this date, it will be deactivated, but users will retain their Bilt membership and associated points. Instead, they will receive a Wells Fargo Autograph® Card to manage their credit account.

The new card benefits, features, and offers are subject to eligibility and terms. Bilt encourages customers to reach out with questions at 1 (888) 904-3420 as they prepare for the upcoming launch.

Stay tuned for additional information on January 14, and ensure you are ready for a seamless card upgrade.
