Ex-KSTP Reporter Welcomes One of 2026’s First Babies
Congratulations are in order for Ginna Henriksen, a former reporter for KSTP. She and her husband, Sam, welcomed their first child, a baby boy, at M Health Fairview at 12:27 AM on Thursday. This joyous event marks the beginning of their journey into parenthood.

The newborn weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces and is 19.75 inches long. As of now, the couple has not yet chosen a name for their son.

In coincidental timing, North Memorial Health-Maple Grove Hospital also celebrated a significant arrival. At the stroke of midnight on January 1, the hospital welcomed its first baby of 2026.
