Federal Reserve Appoints 2026 Chairs and Deputies for 12 Banks
The Federal Reserve Board has announced the chairs and deputy chairs for the 12 Federal Reserve Banks for 2026. These appointments are part of the Board’s ongoing efforts to ensure strong leadership across its regional banks.
Chairs and Deputy Chairs Appointed for 2026
Each Federal Reserve Bank features a nine-member board of directors. These directors represent various business and community leaders within each regional district. By law, the Board of Governors appoints three directors to represent public interests in each district. This year’s designated chairs and deputy chairs are as follows:
