Peter Perdue, president of Popeyes U.S. and Canada, said the chain is giving the wraps a permanent place on the menu year-round. Popeyes said the item returns after a limited-time run in 2025.

Peter Perdue on year-round wraps

Perdue said, "We know our guests are looking for convenience without sacrificing great taste and value, which is why we're thrilled to be giving Popeyes Chicken Wraps a permanent place on the menu year-round". The company also said, "Popeyes is bringing back the Chicken Wraps fans couldn't get enough of, and this time they're here to stay".

The wraps include lettuce, cheese and a pickle wrapped in a tortilla. That gives customers a fixed lineup and a set price, instead of a short promotional window that can end without notice.

Customer reaction online

Reaction online was mixed. One Instagram user wrote, "I. Have. Been. Waiting," while another said, "The way I was just about to comment and say bring the wraps back... love you so deep."

Other users pushed back on the item's size and balance. One wrote, "They're all 2 bites of food, useless," and another said, "It's good, but not great — the proportions are off," leaving Popeyes with a permanent menu item that still has to prove itself with customers who already tried it before.
