Ineos Grenadier Adds Trialmaster X at $85,995

Ineos has added the ineos grenadier Trialmaster X to its 2026 lineup, pricing the Station Wagon at $85,995 before destination. The new trim keeps the Trialmaster’s off-road hardware but folds in more standard comfort and convenience equipment for buyers who want fewer add-ons at the ordering stage.

The Station Wagon costs $87,990 with the $1,995 destination charge, while the Quartermaster starts at $91,395 and reaches $93,390 with destination. An equivalent regular Trialmaster configured on Ineos’ website came to $88,695, or $90,690 with destination, putting the Trialmaster X $2,700 below that setup.

Trialmaster X Equipment

The Trialmaster X is based on the Trialmaster trim and keeps locking front and rear differentials, BF Goodrich KO3 all-terrain tires, an intake snorkel and an upgraded alternator. Ineos also made 17-inch alloy wheels, a storage compartment in the spare wheel and the towing package standard on the new trim.

Inside, the Trialmaster X adds heated Recaro seats with leather upholstery, a better sound system, carpeted floor mats, pop-up safari windows and tinted rear windows. It also wears a small badge at the base of the windshield.

Grenadier Pricing Gap

The regular Trialmaster already includes the same core off-road equipment, but Ineos says the X version bundles in features that otherwise can be added separately. That leaves buyers choosing between a broader color list on the standard Trialmaster and the tighter Trialmaster X package, which comes in Scottish White, Devil Red, Donny Grey and Magic Mushroom with a contrasting black or white roof.

Only Donny Grey is metallic among the available Trialmaster X colors. The regular Trialmaster is offered in 11 colors plus contrast roof options, giving buyers more exterior combinations if they want the standard trim instead of the X package.

BMW Powertrain Remains

The powertrain stays unchanged. The Trialmaster X uses the same turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six from BMW, rated at 282 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and a two-speed transfer case for four-wheel drive.

For shoppers, the immediate choice is straightforward: the Trialmaster X costs less than a similarly equipped regular Trialmaster while adding several convenience items as standard. That makes the new trim the factory route for buyers who want Grenadier off-road hardware without building out the cabin one option at a time.
