Vanguard launches 2 ETFs on Europe — Bourse En Direct
Vanguard launched two ETF focused on European equities, and bourse en direct now has a clearer read on the firm’s latest push into the region. The new funds are designed as complementary tools for investors seeking to strengthen exposure to European stocks.
Vanguard FTSE Eurozone UCITS ETF
The first fund is the Vanguard FTSE Eurozone UCITS ETF. The second is the Vanguard FTSE Developed Europe Small-Cap UCITS ETF, and both are managed by Vanguard's Global Equity Group. They are set to list on the Deutsche Börse, Euronext Amsterdam, Borsa Italiana and the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Claire Aley on long-term allocations
Claire Aley, responsable produits et PRD Europe chez Vanguard, said the design priority for index ETFs is to give investors the exposure they want through durable, liquid and low-cost vehicles. She said the two UCITS ETFs track recognized FTSE indices and are intended to be practical tools for advisers and investors making long-term strategic allocations to European equities.
8 390 000 milliards de dollars
8 390 000 milliards de dollars in assets worldwide and more than 50 million clients sit behind Vanguard's Global Equity Group, giving the launch scale that smaller product rollouts rarely carry. For investors, the immediate change is not a trading event but a broader menu: two new UCITS wrappers, four exchange listings, and a cleaner way to add European equity exposure without building it stock by stock.
50 million clients and four listings make the message plain. Vanguard is expanding the shelf of Europe-focused index products, and the two funds give advisers another route to assemble strategic allocations around FTSE-linked exposure rather than a single market bet.
