Xcel Energy reported that approximately 148,000 customers experienced outages. As of 4:45 p.m., about 40,000 customers were still without power. CORE Electric also announced that power interruptions affected 44,350 customers in Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert counties.
