Trader Joe’s has announced the opening of eight new store locations across various states in the U.S. This expansion underscores the grocer’s commitment to growth and further enhances its presence nationwide.

Currently, Trader Joe’s operates in 42 states, leaving only a few, such as Alaska and Wyoming, without a store. The recent announcement reveals plans to establish new locations in the following states:

  • Kansas: 8700 Shawnee Mission Pkwy., Merriam
  • Louisiana:
    • 3377 U.S. Hwy. 190, Mandeville
    • 2428 Napoleon Ave., New Orleans
  • Florida: 8111 S Dixie Hwy., West Palm Beach
  • Arizona: 2150 E Broadway Blvd., Tucson
  • Washington: 14035 NE Woodinville Duvall Rd., Woodinville
  • Georgia: 1000 Medley Blvd., Johns Creek
  • Texas: 8101 Eldorado Pkwy., McKinney

Trader Joe’s Growth Plans

In addition to the eight new stores, Trader Joe’s previously announced two locations in July 2025 for Louisiana and Texas. A spokesperson indicated that the company is actively exploring hundreds of neighborhoods across the country.
